Story behind the song
We came to realize that all of us, at one time or another, had been to a Jamboree on a reservation (most of us had been to several). We noticed that most Jamborees had something in common: The old standard of Jambalaya was played at some point during the dance. However, the words didn't seem to quite "fit" the mood of these Jamborees, so we changed them, and added our own brand of street music to go along with it.
