He also played all instruments and vocals on all songs, except on the album (produced by the African American producer Forrest Thomas) and on the Dutch song 'Doe Maar Multicultureel'. In these songs, Doc Jazz collaborated with prominent professionals from the Dutch jazz and fusion scene. His music can be found in a wide variety of styles ranging from piano ballads to funky music with a groove and with a taste of Doc Jazz's characteristic rock guitar solos (and on 'Front Door Key' the mesmerizing saxophone solos of Susanne Alt) - in three languages:. A Palestinian short shepherd's flute called the is also often featured in the songs. One last note: don't assume the music of Doc Jazz is only political! Story behind the song
"If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier... just so long as I'm the dictator" ... guess whose words these are? George W. Bush, supposedly the leader of this world's "greatest democracy". Don't you believe he said this? Just listen to the song, and u will hear him say it.
Lyrics
"If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier... just so long as I'm the dictator" (George W. Bush during his first trip to Washington as President-Elect, Washington, D.C., Dec. 18, 2000 ) Listen to the man who is running the show In the single super power thats left in this world Cuz if thats what's on his mind it sure explains so much About the way he's been dealing with the power in his clutches You wanna talk to me about the Enron deal? Or would you rather dwell upon the war on steel Do you really want to know his views on mother nature Or would you rather talk about the troubles that await ya Bridge: Its not the way he talks or the way he walks or the way he sneers or the way he cheers But its the way he tried and the way he lied and the war he wages on innocent lives Chorus: Free the World - Down Down Dubya So that's -- what -- there's some ideas. And the -- it's -- my job is to like think beyond the immediate. (George W. Bush in Washington, D.C., Apr. 21, 2004) Listen George Dubya are u sure you should do this Why not leave the thinking to the people who go through this You lied to your people about the war on Iraq Now tell me who exactly are you trying to mock? You think that anyone still buys your wicked plans and schemes They're just trying to avoid becoming Targets at it seems Bridge & Chorus America stands for liberty, for the pursuita happiness and for the unalieinalienable right of life. George W. Bush in Washington, D.C., Nov. 5, 2003) Yeah right You expect us to believe that? We cant let it go on we gotta find a way to stop this With this madman at the wheel, we will be lucky to survive this Cause anyone can see that this war is a disaster That's the best you can get, with Dubya as your master So its time for the world to stand up against this power Because its influence is growing by the hour Bridge & Chorus Last statements by George W. Bush are original - Prime Time Press Conference #3, White House, Apr. 13, 2004 - but not interesting enough to transcribe
