synth strings, remixed fusion of sound and a reworking of an earlier song we did called 'In Escrow'

some people get by with a little understanding, some people get by with a whole lot more..
Think back to when Bon Scott played his last gig with AC/DC (it’s actually this day 27.01) back in 1980 before he would succumb to an untimely death due to misadventure and remember how the world seemed less complicated and more focussed on serious issues as opposed to Tik Tok or Instagram and if we don't think we've lost something we're crazy...but if we think it's coming back anytime soon then we are complete fools. Michael Keaton in a scene from 'Birdman' is here due to his brilliant acting abilities as well - his brilliant turn in Ron Howard's 'Night Shift' showed the world what they could expect from this gifted actor...we're all getting older with every day...we got memories but they fade just like pictures in an album so live for today and make that count as it's really the only thing anyone has...Coldplay is on in the background on our smart TV sound bar...when did the stereo disappear...it's 'the scientist' and man, that's a sad song...lol! ...both of me, one when the twin towers were still standing, NYC harbour and all of us doing the Beatles thang at THE abbey road in St John's Wood, London (I had to get a photo of me taken by my son crossing a la John Lennon style and then insert that into the photo I took of rest of fam as a: they didn't know how to make it look, lol and b: didn't have time to get a stranger to do it and line it up as I have done, lol! you've got to love the Beatles to make it look like the Beatles...a lot of folk just going thru the motions of 'being there' for no real actual reason...ha! how presumptive of me...but true...;) can you still recall in the juke box hall when the music played and the world spun round to a brand new sound in those far off days.. in their blue suede shoes they would scream and shout as they sang the blues, let it all hang out.. rock and roll...

Story behind the song
we live with war, always have - it's the norm, not the exception, which is really hard to comprehend...you'd think it'd be other way round...funny 'ol world, innit?
Lyrics
they couldn't tell what was right or wrong or what was weak or strong ...know what was weak or strong...without... without... don't you know that the times were tough without... ...now you know no, no don't you know that the times were tough ...without...don't you know that the times were tough now you know... know that I just can't wait, just can't wait now you know... ...without now you know...

Epic & cinematic track, huge wall of sound. Perfectly depicts the enormity & gravity of the situation. Very dramatic & thought-provoking.

I can visualise the camera slowly panning from left to right, over huge piles of rubble, that used to be apartment blocks ... peoples former homes, then cutting to a close-up of someone trying to pull a child's toy out of it. Oh Greg, this music paints a picture alright. The 'Spoils of War', the Pyrric Victory of being able to say that, "This pile of rubble is now ours". Wow, this is such a fantastic creation.

Sends chills down the spine Greg, another orchestral masterpiece! Superb how you get the sentiment over through your music. Top shelf my friend

A heartwarming and emotional piece of stunning music Greg. A statistic I didn’t know. A masterclass.
