I have been making electronic music for a long time.An outlet for a melancholic soul to find release in the dark.
I first recorded as Robert Samuels & The Gravesend Trolley I started singing & playing casio keyboard in my kitchen to a tape recorder in the stone age.But then got a computer.I still write,record,self-produce.

Story behind the song
"The Wrong Person Hanged" is my first acapella.Singing a poem from my notebook to the tape recorder near my bed. Many of the lines come from the earliest memories of my childhood.Also-I live in a noisy city.Decided to not fight that and simply leave the outside noise in as a contast to the fragile silence inside from which I was softly singing from.
Lyrics
I was just an easily Frigtened wee lad Sofly crying All through the sweet smell Of a dour summer Mother finally Had calmed me down In the tavern i was chewing on A piece of bread The stillness in the tavern shook When the old bag lady entered it Her shoddy feral eyes Had locked with mine They blanketed my half light And i cried Lord did I cry My guilt starves on the blight On her weathered bones In crimsen of sand Oh i wish That it was me Who was hanged I wish it was me who was hanged Oh i remember That strange friday morning Rising from A catacomb of grey The crow cawed In an aching hum Muting even The oscine mid song Her ashen black coat Blinded my half light In the darkness We are but one broken being we are one broken being Hungry raven When you are done with her Becken my way For enough food To feed all your kin So they can be strong Oh i wish That it was me Who was hanged Oh I wish it was me who was hanged
