TELLIN THE WOLD WE TIRED
Lyrics
OPEN LETTER TO THE WORLD
gary ramsey 2025
It seems to me
that the only way
to appease everybody
would be take down
every single statue
and monument in America.
Let's just go ahead
and blow Mt. Rushmore
off the face of that mountain,
push the Statue Of Liberty
over into the sea,
dismantle museums
destroy every piece of art inside.
Burn libraries down
because they have
offensive books,
let's just go ahead and erase literature and history.
Make all products generic
with plain brown wrappers
where all the bags and cans
only have the name
of what they contain
no mascots, or spokespersons. Plain wrappers, for example,
a can of soup will say "SOUP"
,
beer will just be a plain can
with the word "Beer" on it.
A package of bread will say "BREAD".
And so on and so on...
Only one restaurant
that serves the same food
in every town and province.
No diversity allowed.
No ethnicity anymore.
Just plain and unseasoned food
eaten solely for sustenance instead of the of the taste.
no-name brands on anything.
cars recalled and destroyed replaced with one simple model that everyone drives.
The same body style
the same color of gun metal gray.
No more fashion
no style is allowed,
no individuality...
everybody issued
a colorless uniform
to wear day in and day out.
Plain work boots
one size fits all
Outlaw imagination
and free thought.
Outlaw words and phrases
that might offend.
A world with no art, no music, movies, or beauty
lest someone gets angry
A world where everyone and everything is alike and the same.
I hope that seeing all this
the sad absurdity of it all
sinks in and becomes plain to see.
this is the future of America
the land of the chained
and the un-free
what about the children?
where are the children?
who's watching the children?
where did they take the children?
It's woke o'clock, America
do you know where your
children are?
