Christ centered songs written by Dan Simmons...the best Gospel and inspirational A.I. music on the internet!
"firesong" is the songwriting ministry of Dan Simmons Thanks for stopping by. It's my desire to faithfully share that which has been given to me. This website will be a sampling of recordings that I, along with family and friends, have done over past 45 years. There are over 600 original unpublished songs presented in demo form on this site. Special thanks go to my partners in music, my daughter Amber, son Ian and the guys of Single Heart (Gene, Bob, Chris, Marty and Tata) who joined me to sing praises to the Lord down through the years. I also wish to thank those co-writers and artists that have joined with me in developing new music the passed few years to share on this website. I'm now featuring AI (Artificial Intelligence) groups that I've developed to sing some of the songs. I hope it's evident to everyone... that though the melodies and harmonies, styles and singers may change... JESUS has always been and will always be...the Song! ...this music is one simple expression of a very thankful heart. (Dan is a retired firefighter and ordained minister)

Lyrics
I wonder what it felt like to die upon a cross? I believe that Jesus suffered for us all The blood shed at Calvary was the price that Jesus paid To redeem us and save us from the fall But every time we cheat a neighbor every time we use a man To serve our own self interests when we can Every time we twist the word of God to make it fit our plans We crucify the Savior once again Every time we face a choice in life and compromise God's word And think that there's advantage with our sin We figure He'll forgive us somewhere down the road Then we crucify the Savior once again (instrumental) Every time we use His holy name and speak it forth in vain Every time we judge another for their sin Or think the freedom given is a license unrestrained Then we crucify the Savior once again I wonder what it felt like to die upon a cross? I believe that Jesus suffered for us all The blood shed at Calvary was the price that Jesus paid To redeem us and save us from the fall And yet we crucify the Savior once again
