In a coffee shop, where the sweet aromas play,
I sip my dreams like they're fading away.
The clock ticks ever so softly, but my hearts on the run,
Chasing memories that have come undone.
We're dancing into the drawing night,
Holding on to dreams that seem so light.
But as each moment passes, the truth is what we face,
Its just another scene in a meaningless play.
The cafe sign flickers like coding, dim then light,
Chances in the dark, oh, they just don't feel right.
Strangers with scripts filled with empty lines,
We search for the meaning in forgotten signs.
