Nice composition with some celtic and folk influences. Composed for acoustic instruments like guitars, mandolin and accordion, the piece is transporting us to northern landscapes, crossing fields with green grass.

Music composer for films, audiovisual projects and media. Classical basis, creator of wonderful ambiences and beautiful notes with his piano, Marc Corominas bri
Marc Corominas has been composing, working and evolving his music materials over 20 years, taking some great composers like Vangelis, Beethoven, Mehldau and others into the classical, jazz and electronic scenario, as reference. In 1977 Marc starts to learn music theory and piano in Marshall Academy. Then, In 1983, he starts to work and explore with piano improvisations , seeking his own sound and playing freely and continuously. In this way it could emerge suddenly the very first ideas that he would use in a near future. In 1988, he begins to learn and explore by himself some instruments: fiddle, whistle, flute, mandolin... At this time he bought his first synthesizers and electronic instruments that would be worth to developing his own sounds. Temporarily Marc explored the folk and Celtic Music and played with playing guitar and fiddle, even the tin whistle. That was a great point to growing the expression capabilities with other such different instruments. While he continues composing with synthesizers, he starts to learn jazz style and enjoys listening some great jazz composers and jazz players, like Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Miles Davis, Kenny Barron... so the Jazz style becames at this time another big reference. Marc bought an accordion and an electric mandolin and practiced some jazz standards with them, with the look of some modern jazz music teachers at the Master of Music Therapy in Barcelona. At this time, thanks to these teachers, Marc was able to improve its knowledge of harmony and instrumental improvisations. Thanks to these new experien ces, he used the jazz and funk influences in some own compositions. For a lot of years, Marc worked (and still does) as music therapist in some elderly care centers, and worked with some electronic music resources with therapeutic purposes. He focused his work on elderly people, most of them with severe diseases. Marc Corominas receives in the last years his last bigger and deepest influence: classical music from the great german symphonic composers: wagner, Beethoven, Mozart.. All of this means for him a strong incentive... and also a such a great inner transformation.
