Ive written hundreds of songs over the past 40 years. I love Jesus, the word of God, people and music. I play guitar, bass and sing. Thank you for listening!
My music is about the new life found in Jesus Christ. He is our access to the Father and is worthy of all praise and glory. He has taken our sins away by the selfless sacrifice of His death upon the cross. He is deserving of songs and worship. The sound of my music is influenced by the delta blues and artists that have followed through the 60s and 70s who have taken this music and written folk, Americana, and Rock n Roll. Thank you for listening to my songs, and also the collaboration projects, thank you to all who contributed to these songs..

Lyrics
Bella B Once upon a time there was a dog named Bella B She was less than one foot long but was happy as could be She would jump and play all day such a sight to see When I got home from work she was waiting there for me Bella was a tri-pod but she didnt seem to care With only three legs but was covered with long hair Man how she could run and scare the cat right up the tree She understood every word when looking straight at me Oh girl why did you have to go Oh girl you know I loved you so Oh Bella B theres no one else for me Oh Bella B I know you know are free She would watch the movies with us on tv She even commented I know you dont believe me Her head would tilt as she listened to each word No one like my Bella B now shes flying like a bird Oh girl why did you have to go Oh girl you know I loved you so Oh Bella B theres no one else for me Oh Bella B I know you know are free Words and music by John Matteson Copyright 2024 All rights reserved
