The longest song I have ever written and the longest period of time to write (almost a year!!!). Finally recorded, enjoy!
Hey, so lots has been happening lately with me joining a band that has some pretty high goals and what not. Sorry to all of you guys for not updating my site since August, I guess, when I stuck Halfway Around the World on there (was it August? maybe it was before then, even). I'm not sure if I'll be recording anything anytime soon for this site, since most of my writing has been revolving around my band. That and school work are pretty killer. Anyway, that's just to explain the absence of new material lately. The site will stay up, rest assured, and if you're all lucky maybe a new song or two will go up, but that might not be for a while. And to all you guys that are new here, thanks for checking out my music! Feel free to leave comments on the message board, I do check it and appreciate the remarks. Thanks again! By the way, in case you're interested, my band's page is . It's something a little different then what I've been doing here, but I enjoy it and I hope you all do, too!

Story behind the song
So I'm still bad with naming my songs, and I named this one for my friend, Ben, who's currently serving his mission in Japan. His birthday coming around finally got me to sit down and record this song, which I finally finished writing after way too long of a time, but it's my first song with a key change! I guess the extra time paid off in some respects. I hope it NEVER takes me this long to write another song.

Beautiful song. Worth every single second that you worked on it. God bless.

Enjoyed the song very much. I can see why it hit #11 on the charts. Cheers, Ascenzion
