Hello. Lawrence Wise And The Cosmic Funk Orchestra/OSMOSIS is actually a One-Man Home Recording Project that has been my 'stress relief' (ha ha!), since about MAY, 1981. I'm from that first wave of DIY Cassette-Tapers ('analog'--and PROUD OF IT!). Hell, the majority of my material between '81 and '99 was done on the earliest large-model Casio Synthesizers (the MT-68, MT-400-V and MT-200), with a Yamaha thrown into the mix (on occasion). Recently, I've started posting my material on the web (after transfering it from cassette-tape to digital disc, and then to MP3---a very hard process, considering the AGE of some of the tapes). It was in these past 2 1/2 years on the web that I discovered that, despite the ridicule you're going to get, there IS an Audience for your music--no matter how different it is. I've been telling some of my friends and peers for years to NEVER get rid of ANY of their recordings, no matter how 'crappy' you were (of think you were), because having a 'Back Catalog' is a damn good thing. You MAY have been sitting on some GEMS, and not even know it. And, when I discovered that a 21-year-old jam I posted on MySpace recently ROCKED a lot of folks as far away as SCOTLAND and AFRICA (!), I felt pumped. It means that this was a 'dream' that came thru in the end.

Officially, this is collab #4 between Lawrence Wise (a.k.a. OSMOSIS) and the Kimble Bros. and Kin, and let me tell ya'---we're HIT MAKERS!! Now, about the title: Someone posted a meme on Facebook with a streetlamp on, and the caption "Remember when the streetlamps turning on meant it was time to go home?". Those of us of a certain age used to remember when DJs and TV Announcers used to remind us: "It's 10:00 O'Clock. Do You Know Where Your Children Are?" This gave both me and James Kimble an idea---only this time, it's us faithful husbands keeping our wayward wives in check. YeaYeaYea, I know, I know, I know---I bet a LOT of ladies are gonna get on our cases, but this is really in reply to all the "Ladies-Tell-Off-Your-Dog-Man" songs, only this time, it's us decent, Honest Gents dealing with our Slick Sistas!! Ha Ha---yea, it's wrong, but it's FUNKY!! SO--- OSMOSIS (me) does the main BASS (a 5-String) and Drums and Chorus Vocals/Lyrics; MAXIMUM/RAPPADELIC (JamBOne and OFunkeO) supply the main Lyrics and Lead and Background Vocals, as well as extra Bass Solo, Guitars and Keyboards--as well as 45-Record Scratch/Pop effects. Yea...The FUNK lives!!! PS: This was also the FIRST "LAWRENCE WISE"-Credited song in 32 1/2 Years at the time (2014). No, Really. See, it was gonna be "OSMOSIS Feat. MAXIMUM/RAPPADELIC"--just like "Let's Monkey Around" from the "DIMENSION 7" Album (SG-201567)...but FACEBOOK recently got a bit stupid with the "Security BS", and so, it turned out like THIS. It actually kinda works, too. This also counts as an WooF GanG entry, and shared an album in 2018, "Psychedelic WooF Tickets" (SG-357683) on BoyZDowN RecordZ-N-FilmWorkZ. So, N-Joy the Funk.
