i am Steve Weyman from Bristol England and been playing guitar since I was 9 years of age and doing paid gigs in bands from age 14 playing covers and originals. I am a bit older ( quite a bit older now ! I am not gigging at the moment . I am teaching guitar and concentrating more on writing and recording in m y little home studio. Don't write in a particular style, it comes out how it comes out !

I've heard this ages ago but didn't realise that I'd never left a comment. This is a fab version. I like it much more than the original. The acoustic version is a revelation. It makes it seem like a totally different song. What an amazing acoustic guitar sound. Your vocals are superb.

This is a super nice cover, Steve. Absolutely amazing acoustic guitar sound and nice, subtle vocal performance, that fits the song very well.
I really like the way you gave the song your own touch. A very nice listen!
I still can't believe Mr. Petty is no longer with us. You more than did this song justice. Really like the vocal delivery and that slide guitar is the icing on the cake.
