Story behind the song
"Apartment Prisoner" started with the darkly peppy keyboard/piano line.Then came the finger snapping.The lyrics inspired by the similar self-destructive fates of two people in the apartment building where I lived when I was maybe 12 or 13.As they are faded but haunting bits of the brain's memory data.
