Cold gothic industrial music, with some musical twists and twisted music. Although in existance for a very short time, Jen Rhines and Steven West created quite a buzz in the mid '90's. Rhines' unusual lyrics and voice coupled with West's gritty arrangements and production were set to make some major contributions to the industrial/goth scene in Toronto and beyond. At the last minute, Steven West declared he was uncomfertable with the whole scene and sound and Demon Gap was immediately folded. Rediscovering the original master tapes, Steven West has remastered many of the tracks and shelved material into a quasi compilation mix here known as Failure To Communicate.
