Major Snagg is the invented name of the 'band' that perform all my own musical creations. (songs and instrumentals). I play guitars, bass, rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing. Melody has always been important to me... lyrics and guitar solos have to say or communicate something. I create musical worlds that I hope that you dear listener, will also want to explore and live in for a few moments...or longer if you feel that way inclined.

Story behind the song
This piece was partially inspired and influenced by a song called 'The Sea', by Sandy Denny. There is a very nice E chord (E B F# G# B E), followed an unusual A chord ( * C# F# A B E)... Then it goes to a, G - F#m - E run down. Really beautiful chords to improvise over. I enjoyed playing this. I used my Eastwood Astro Cadet Bill Nelson model guitar for all the guitar parts. For the bass, I used the double bass setting on my old Yamaha PSR-275 keyboard. Other nice sounds were provided by my equally ancient but still functioning original E-bow. Once again, the drums and percussion was played manually on the same keyboard. I used the, 'Brush Kit', setting for a gentle drum sound.
