Bobby Mack; drums, bass, flute, keys & synths, acoustic guitar, vox & fx Michael Duran; mixing & production, electric guitar solos, choirs & fx Discovery is the ninth studio album by English multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Mike Oldfield, released on 25 June 1984 on Virgin Records. After his 1983 tour, Oldfield relocated to Villars-sur-Ollon, Switzerland for tax purposes and started work on a new album. According to Oldfield "The Lake" was inspired by his time around Lake Geneva in Switzerland.

Michael and Bobby Mack. Excellent collaboration. Magnificent Guitar solos and percussion. Beautiful melodies and the playing of all the instruments. Amazing work.
