Story behind the song
Walking in woods a couple of weeks ago I came across a strange stone doorway. It was just set in a stone wall, with a set of stone steps leading down on the other side, but it led from nowhere to nowhere. Why was there an elaborate carved doorway on its own in the middle of a wood? Perhaps it was all that remained of a grand house long since fallen to ruin, but I imagined it was a relic of an even older time, when the borders between the worlds were thinner and eldritch creatures could find their way among us, especially at certain times of the year. Listen carefully, you may hear the voices of dead things that should have remained buried. Made during the strange lockdown times especially for the Clickers Club Halloween challenge 2020, this tune was created entirely on an iPhone.

The story behind this song definitely captured my imagination. I agree with Morgan, a fantastic blurring of the boundaries between something terrifying and something classically beautiful. Excellent composition and atmosphere.
