Lyrics
MOMMA’S ARMS by Bob Grez Intro C G C C When I was born I looked around F C So many sights, so many sounds F C I sure was scared, I had no choice G C Til I saw her face and I heard her voice. Chorus C Safe and snug in momma’s arms F C So much love keeps me warm F C Momma’s arms hold me tight G C Helps me through my cold dark night. C I had a dream when I was four F C Cryin’ tears when I woke. F C Then in the dark I heard her say G C Hush all right I’m here to stay. (Chorus and Break) C Times gone by and she’s long gone F C And when I die I’m not alone. F C My mind now clings to her memory G C As she holds me close and she hugs me. (Chorus and Break) (Acapella Chorus)
