Lyrics
THE TIDE HAS TURNED AWAY WORDS BY D PITZ & A TIETJE MUSIC BY Joel Pirard Shes the kind of girl whod give you her umbrella on a sunny day But when the raindrops start to fall shed be there to take it away I cant see where I must be today Not for me the tide has turned away When I find I cant explain (when find I cant explain) my thoughts they wander on And I find myself (And I find myself so lost) So lost in time and words alone I cant see where I must be today The rain it calls to me, how can it wash away, the pain When I find I cant explain (when find I cant explain) my thoughts they wander on And I find myself (And I find myself so lost) So lost in time and words alone And one day youll wake (and on day youll wake to find) To find your gods have feet of clay Will it be your broken (will it be your broken heart) heart that sees the light of day I cant see where I must be today Lonely me, the tide has turned away
