Finger style and Acoustic Progressive guitar, flute, synth and Mellotron.
Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

Lyrics
Hey Girl see the day Desert spring float away Mind's eye in a dream Hold your hand float upstream Abandoned no choice Mesa top hear a voice Embrace seize the time Never go back forever Away away away to the sun Now Girl time has come forever here Desert sun Idle time to figure out Cosmic waves move about They'll forget us short enough Keep our bags toss our stuff We'll survive Alfalfa Sprouts Wind blows Water spouts Away to the sun Away to the Sun

Nice strong intro...drums sound good as well as keys and all....your vocal timbre is channeling The Doors singer, Jim Morrison. Interesting as you usually sound like Ian Anderson. Awesome!

Brilliant stuff Carlo! Fantastic trippy vibe, love the guitar work and the vocals. A very cool escape from the current world and it's problems - some very vivid pictures!

You seem to be hooked up to the ghost of Jim Morrison, and The Doors with your great vocals and the really out there 1960s vibe. Fabulous stuff Carlo...I dig it man!

This sounds right out of San Francisco bay area circa 67 to 68 and you nailed the vibe. Wish I was listening with weed, whites and wine. :-)

Some really lovely psychedelic fusion going on here. Reminds me of the great tracks of the late 60s. Excellent stuff.

Dang Carlo! Seriously groovy. The chord progressions and all its surprises tell a big chunk of the story, but the whole package is a classic freak-out psychedelic dream. Love it.
