Sam Anderson

Sam Anderson is a songwriter/singer/guitarist (in that order) who has been working at his craft for many years. After performing in various local bands, he put his music career on hold to help raise his two daughters. Recently, he has resumed performing, this time as both a solo artist, and as a member of the band "LightHead" along with drummer Tony Palmer, bassist Jon Blake, and keyboardist Dan Harris. Sam is a member of the Maine Songwriters Association. His songs could be described as "Beatlesque", although influences of folk, country, soul, rock, and reggae can also be heard. Sam is currently working with LightHead on their debut CD. The selections posted here are, for the most part, rough acoustic versions of songs in contention for inclusion on the album. Enjoy!
