I think the strange theme was right up your alley, Jon. It sounds like you feel very much at home in these strange soundscapes, where there are no rules and
you never know where things are going. Your masterful drumming sometimes seems to be the only thing keeping everything together. SOmething beautiful can emerge from chaos, it seems :)

Yeah, this is VERY VERY STRANGE. A kind of underground music, there is darkness and it's not a very nice place.
It doesn't feel like we are ever getting out of here, but we just have to make the best out of this situation.
But it has got something relaxed too. Don't worry, just take it like it is.
Special atmosphere. Good job.

This is the first one I checked out on challenge night Jon, dug it so much I came back to it SEVERAL times even before hearing everyone's entries. Those thundering toms and perfectly placed crashes are steering this gem, extremely cool, awesome synth textures too, would make a hell of a movie soundtrack!

Powerful piece - great drums (as usual), nice synth melodies and very disturbing voices just on the edge of audibility - nice scary touch.

Great concept, it works really well with the combination of drums and sound effects. Thanks for submitting this to the Challenge, definitely has that "strange" element we were hoping for. Excellent job.
Excellent musicianship. Your sound effects and great percussion expertise is truly amazing. Very creative and I like the Goth edge.
