Lyrics
She was sitting all alone at a down town street cafe She called the waitress over when had something to say Girl if you had legs like mine you wouldn't have to worry about a thing In the valley of the blind the one eyed man is king Early in the morning just before sunrise He ran into the darkness looked the devil right in the eye He said I'm not a holy man but I think I know what to do Then he slammed the door said I've had just about enough out of you There was an old man on the train he fell asleep along the way He dreamed about another world in a different war far away Once he was a strong man he fought in battles near and far He didn't end the war but I'm sure he must have left a scar

Brilliant classic rocker Dale :D the heavy guitar solos over the acoustic are wonderful contrast, and your superb vocals sit perfectly in the mix. cool B3 breaks! nice work!

I like this one because it has that CLASSIC "Rock & Roll" feel! - Being an ex-drummer, the drums pulled me in right from the start. LIVE drums, or drum programming...? Either way... they sound great! Also, liked the organ part that comes in around the last third of the song. And, as always... your electric guitar riffs sound great! Great job, my friend! :)

You always deliver some wonderful songs. The entire track flows so well as the acoustical instrumentation creates the airy feel of a great mix Dale. Excellent vocal performance. Enjoyed!

"In the valley of the blind the one eyed man is king" ....Now there is a great line!! Your vocals are solid on this Dale and i loved the prominent bass mix as well as you're killer guitar riffage floating so wildly in the background. Thought provoking lyrics and a groove that pulls the listener along. Very interesting and creative tune my friend.

I agree with Rodz regarding your great vocals Dale. But for me your guitar work rules this one. Cool organ as well. Nice.

I like the guitar, keys and melody, they are distinctive in their own way, and it wasn't until the end that I realized you'd managed to grab our attention without a lyrical or musical hook. You're one of those ppl who has an instantly engaging and recognizable vocal timbre. They once said of Paul Rodgers, he could sing the contents of the telephone directory & it would sound good...you have that same tonal ability.

Reminded some of Bob Seger - love that piano melody rhythm - and heavy guitar riffs in and out! Nice vocal work too Dale ;)
