Finger style and Acoustic Progressive guitar, flute, synth and Mellotron.
Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

Lyrics
I wake up in the morning- and I don’t know where I am There’s gnats in my coffee- and fly legs in my jam. I get so tired---walkin’ ‘round in my fat shoes. I guess there’s no way to lose-those growin’ old blues. Look into the mirror-see that young man long ago. There’s someone else starin’ back-got me scared from head to toe. I get so tired-walkin’ round in those fat shoes. There’s no way to lose those growin’ old blues. The spring in my step has turned to lead in my pants Gotta wife that fills my life with raves and rants. Get so tired—ain’t nothin’ but bad news. There really aint no way to lose-those growin’ old blues.

This is very different for you but I can dig it. It kinda reminds me of John Lennon's Dirty Mac band. Nice one!

Great title Carlo. Matches the equally great track. You can't beat a bit of blues and this is fantastic. Very well put together and really original.

So well written, delightfully bluesy, grungy, edgy, retro....and dare I say entirely relatable, such a fine tune!

I like this! Blues with an added dimension - kind of blues meets psychedelic. Love those lyrics, great vocals too.

Great tune, Carlo! Love the way you've used some wild chords in there - still sounds like the blues but from the 4th dimension. Great sound, splendid lyrics and all round fun!
That unmistakable Carlo fingerprint on electric blues. Unexpected treat right out of the gate - way too cool. :D

Wow Carlo! Your lyrics and vocals perfectly captured the authentic blues experience to me. I felt the wrenching emotion of walking in them “Fat Shoe Blues “. Great title and PERFECT for the evening's theme. a highlight of the evening for sure.

A refreshing sidestep from the kind of 12 bar blues we've all got so used to. I can understand the John Lennon reference. I like this Carlo and the crazy drums :).

Slightly off the wall blues that's intriguing and reminiscent of some seventies prog, vocals a bit like Ian Anderson. Cool.
