Story behind the song
Conceived December 2001. This is Take 2 Mix 1 Recorded January 2002 Sony DTC-700 Looks like SOMEONE has been out on the "DFX" Prairie a MIGHT TOO LONG with THIS one (!!) as the old Frankie Laine song gets the redundant delay effect treatment!! Starts out with Kick & Snare (panned hard L/R!!) followed by Pianos. Then we BUTCHER BUTCHER BUTCHER the lyrics, piling on harmony after harmony, followed by the call-response thing, etc, etc!! Then of course, it's on to your mandatory Non-delay loop guitar solo which is just WAY OFF THE F***ING RANGE, YEEEEE-HAAAA!! :-D Then I start throwing into the loop harmonized lead guitar lines, totally BLOWING the first one, as I literally slide up & down one string trying to find the right melody notes....... (.....geez leweeez, it's only THREE F***ING NOTES!!) Next, I throw multiple overdubs into the loop of a line that I VAGUELY remember starting out as "Sling Blade", but as the overdub's progress, it starts sounding more like "Freeze Frame"......? ......or "Squeeze Brain" (??) (Hell, it could be all THREE!!) Pretty soon after this, it starts to turn into the usual ascending barrage of Drum Devastation, shred guitar chaos, piano pounding nonsense, & of course, your maniacal laughter & obscene screaming!!
Lyrics
(all lines repeated ad infinite) Rolling rolling rolling Get those doggies rolling Head 'em up! Move 'em out! Ride 'em out! Rawhide! (indecipherable line) maniacal laughter & howling FULL F***ING THROTTLE!!
