A Real One for the Real God

Story behind the song
I work in a juvenile placement. At the time I was working in a boys program and they have a Christian service. I let the preacher know I make Christian rap and he allowed me to spit some of my stuff. The kids liked it, but at the time I believe I only had Keep Your Head Up and The Real War. These kids are mostly from Philly and Pittsburgh and accustomed to hardcore street life so I wanted to make something more relevant to them. I too come from a hip hop background and made a lot of references to worldly things and connected it to Jesus. Jesus goes harder than ____! Nothing matches up!!
