Finger style and Acoustic Progressive guitar, flute, synth and Mellotron.
Welcome to the music of Carlo D'Anna's Ridiculous Dream music. Also known as "Dream Warrior" in some circles. Influences and music styles ranging from basic to progressive rock, with definite Retro seventies sound. If you enjoy the sound of Moody Blues, George Harrison, Genesis, Dead Can Dance, and others of the same style, more or less, you will probably like this music. I use quite a bit of Mellotron and acoustic fingerstyle guitar as well.

like mike, i thought it would play off the beatle song, she's leaving home. as always you march to your own beat whether it be 3/4 time or any other. imaginative with a blend of most unusual sounds. i heard a guy play a saw once and one of the sounds here reminds me of that. in any case, great work and a fine listen for me.

Elegant arrangement from the intro into the main part, a clever transition using then the 3/4 tempo for a romantic (kinda sad) waltz song, great instrumentation, loved this production Carlo, also the insert of the theremin was a clever choice in this one, well done!! :)

Wow...there's something very, very trippy going on here! :) I love the vibe...something to chill out to, just what I need! I could listen to this for hours. Don't know how you do it, but you manage to harness a sense of calm and escapism. Excellent stuff.

Laid-back psychedelic-ish vibe in a waltz form that is most intriguing. An Optigan? I had to look that one up. Wonderful instrumentation. Enjoyed

Top notch production and quite a diverse piece to be in 3/4 time as well. I do hear some shades of Beatles. Very melodic and I enjoyed the listen. Nice work!

Cool Optigan intro. Dig the backward effect and cool Carlo signature Eastern influenced melodic elements. I think this is very creative Carlo - bravo!

This has such a spacy feel to it, a bit psychedelic, a bit retro modern, and classic mind & ear candy for a trip through the outer limits of ultra-consciousness.

Ancient psychedelic? I've noticed the signature sound you seem to be carving out has really been coming together lately. An alien walks home from the pub just before dawn and this is what happens.

When I first saw the title, I thought a parody of the Beatle's song "She's Leaving Home" but you tricked us with a very cool totally different piece of great music. Awesome!

I recognize your characteristic sound immediately and still wonder how you make that.
Melancholy, drama and such an ancient feeling (Middle Ages). Organs.
At 0:25 the waltz rhythm is coming in (or becoming clear). Are you using an accordion as well?
A slow waltz, turning around. I like the way it stops and then continues and get the feeling this could last forever.
And the use of the theremin in between the other instruments is great too, making the mood stronger.
Very nice one!

Cool organ intro rings in an imaginative waltz amico - original in a beautiful fashion ;)
Fascinating song, Carlo. Very mystical melodies and mood. Your creativity never ends. So serene.
