Lyrics
One is the loneliest number that you'll ever do Two can be as bad as one It's the loneliest number since the number one. No is the saddest experience you'll ever know Yes, it's the saddest experience you'll ever know. 'Cause one is the loneliest number that you'll ever do One is the loneliest number, whoa-oh, worse than two. It's just no good anymore since you went away Now I spend my time making rhymes of yesterday. One is the loneliest number One is the loneliest number One is the loneliest number that you'll ever use. It's just no good anymore since you went away - Number one is the loneliest number One is the loneliest number One is the loneliest number that you'll ever use.

This "One" is a great job here Bob, you did a great job on the vocal especially cause it's a very hard song to sing.

Excellent version Bob! Always impressed by your versatility and musicianship. Brilliant vocals, not easy to do. I not only admire your skill, but your confidence as well - you really shine when you take on the best classics...and you pull them off too!

in 1968 we were at the Whiskey a go go on a hot Saturday night in L.A. watching Chuck Negron and 3 dog night perform this live (tells you how old I am) What a great song even today! You did a great cover of this one Bob and it is a tough one to sing! Hats off to you sir!

What a great song and a great cover. Sometimes you don't fully appreciate these songs until they, or is it me/we, mature. Great vocals and harmonies, especially on the tough upper registers - that 'aint easy! I like how you incorporate you very distinctive guitar tone and work in these classics. Great production (especially on the vocals) and backer Bob. Cool ending.

Wow!!! A Three Dog Night cover! This is awesome. Your vocals are spot on ( actually better) than the original in my opinion. Love this one. Great choice...Keep 'em comin'.

A meaty rendition of the old classic! Much more powerful instrumentally than the 3doggy version. Good singin' Bob. Enjoyed the trip down memory lane.
Cool take on this, groovy job, Bob!
