Story behind the song
This was used as Audrey Hepburn's theme song in the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany's. It also became the theme song for Andy Williams. Moon River is a real river in Savannah, Georgia. Johnny Mercer wrote the lyrics to the song

Ahhh...So good to hear another great rendition of a classic song from you. Your arrangement is top shelf. Great piano intro. I love the strings, and the drums brings it alive. Wonderful and refreshing.

Oh yes, very nice rendition of this evergreen!!!! Liked the piano at the intro so much Rod, excellent, the brass section gives a new dimension to this well known piece, bravo Rod. I feel a slightly Jazz nuance in this one, and you had a fine legant taste arranging this way ( excellent sound choices for the instrumentations too! ): well done my friend, well done!! :D
