I'm Joe Johnson a local United Methodist Pastor. Before I felt God calling me into the ministry I thought I was going to be a rap artist. For 8 years I did nothing with music until my wife introduced me to a group called "The Gospel Gansters" in 1998. It was an eye opening experience. I was amazed to see people using rap for the glory of God. That day I picked up paper and pen and I haven't put it down yet.

Well it started me thinking about my priorities
What things get my time my effort and my money

He’d know that music is something his father has to have
He’d know that works a big deal
But would my son know that Jesus is real?

I’ve decided I’m going to take my sons question as a warning
See I’ve just been talking about Jesus but I finally learn
That a picture of Jesus in your life is more than a thousand words
I want to be ready the next time one of my kids question
Whether Jesus is real, so I’ve learned my lesson
The next time I’m out hanging around with them
I’m going to point out when I see Jesus real in them.
