Damn, this is one of the reasons why you are always a favourite for a listen with the Sc app at work with headphones! Love that funkin sax and the smoking guitar leads!! Absolutely amazing!!

Late to the party . Sorry. Better late than never tho, as this is an absolute powerhouse of rock 'n funk. That bass is in full attack mode...and those sizzling synths at around 2:40 are mean! The guitar is just killer as are all the horn parts. So much going on here. Fabulous mix and production...your trademark...and a collab extraordinaire. Spin asked if there was any genre you couldn't handle. I think it's quite safe to say NO. You rock Al...bravo!!

So dang funky with bits of rock and blues and best parts of disco. So very nice! The bass is poppin, the production sparkles, and the sax and guitar are screaming. You guys killed it :)

This one is very tight! Love the interplay of the horns, synth, sax and JR's smokin' guitar work. The backing track is boiling over the top driving this funk infused rock concoction into overdrive. Wicked bass. I'd call it an "8 Track Attack" - no slackers here!

Very cool blend of funk and rock overtones here. The brass parts kind of remind me of BS&T and Chicago. This grooves big time and great sounding track!

Wow, that power from the beginning on!
Interesting fusion of Rock and Funk with a very strong bass setting.
Now I have to listen a second time. At the start I've got the feeling you really don't have any time to wast, falling into it immediately.
A very 70's like steady building up here, and when I hear the brass, I really know it's you, Al.
Around 1:05 there is coming that fantastic guitar part of JR Burney, wow, you really belong together.
That speed and positive energy here!!!
The live performance feeling is very strong too and the feeling I need a big dance floor right now!!!
It's nine o'clock in the morning. Think this one is suiting better late in the evening or in the middle of the night, together with a big party.
Very good, Al and JR!!!

Wow! imidiat thoughts of early 80'ish Chicago band hearing this.
Delicious intro with raw guitar and slapbass.Who's doing the bass?
Love the brasswork all over the track.Beautyful syncopes.
And the icing on the cake - your sax and JR's soloing is juicy!
Also as always a mix so treatful to the ears.

wow, really moves along. totally funky and full of energy. the soloing is excellent. captivated me right from the start. having a hard time typing because my fingers are tapping along on the keyboard.
Wow! What a brilliant collab! Honest to say this is some kind of surprise for me since now I can see that you're also a King of Rock, Al! So there's no style which wouldn't be yours! And - yes! - the perfect performance in pair with amazing sound is your trademark! Love all of the instrumental lines: sax, guitar, bass are simply fabulous! Funk Rock in its highest level! Is it possible to make something better?!
