People's jobs and investors are counting on me, you think it would get me down, but I find it motivational - I thrive on responsibility. "I am the 1%" the Marxist ideologues disparage me. I grew-up poor, my mom and dad were always angry at me - though I knew it wasn't really me; yet they say (to my melody) I need to save my soul - they say I'm some kind of rich sleazy tax-dodger; "Who will save the CEO?" they ask themselves, though I never really wondered. (to Jewel's original melody) "I need to save my soul." while I'm fighting for 10,000 people's jobs; Who will save this CEO from short-selling, hedge-fund, pirate corporate raiders. So I bided my time got myself an education in marketing - you would think it was boring - but I found it exhilarating in an abstract way, and, oh yeah, that's where I found you. So we married, we found a house in suburbia, I worked real hard, but at home it was bliss with you.
