Bio:
SlyeLiso was born on the Southside of Chicago. The eldest of two siblings, SlyeLiso was born to a two-parent home until he graduated from high school. From a very early age, SlyeLiso sang in the church choir and school talent shows. While in high school, SlyeLiso joined an R&B group called FaSho. FaSho was a singing group consisting of 3 other guys from Chicagoland. FaSho was managed by same the management company who managed the group, "Soul for Real". SlyeLiso was one of the lead vocalists in the group. Due to changing life situations the group broke up. Although he was distraught of missing the opportunity to sign a record deal, it would stop him from expressing his talents.
Soon after graduating from college, SlyeLiso started living and working on the streets of Chicago trying to provide for his family. Seeing the harsh realities of daily life started to change SlyeLiso’s view on the world. After losing his only brother Ceaz unexpectedly at the age of 23, who was an upcoming Rap Artist, SlyeLiso was completed devastated. Searching for an outlet for his grieving, SlyeLiso discovered the talent to write to music. Believing his brother’s spirit gifted him with the talent to write, SlyeLiso began wrote and produced his first EP entitled, “Therapy Sessions” in 2012.
In 2015, SlyeLiso moved to Baltimore and started being featured in the band called the Rhythm Method Band. Getting a sense of the local music scene, SlyeLiso continues to perform with various bands while working on his second album. Slye is inspired by the likes of Musiq Soulchild, Eric Roberson, Foreign Exchange, Usher, Dwele, Maxwell, Donell Jones, Stevie Wonder, and Ne-Yo. SlyeLiso is ready to take the music industry by storm with a fresh, honest sound that the masses are starving to feel.
