Lyrics
Think we can all make some kind of magic happen? It just doesn't work that way, no girl. Making a bet – put it all on the line, It's too easy just to lose that way. Hold out, the best is yet to come, As good as you think it gets. Stay put, the rest is gonna be fun, You ain't seen nothin' yet. Stay the course, true to yourself. Always believe that the best is yet to come. Peaches and cream can spoil over time, And so can the attitude in life yeah girl. All the money in this crazy world Can't burn a hole in your pocket. Hold out, the best is yet to come, As good as you think it gets. Stay put, the rest is gonna be fun, You ain't seen nothin' yet. Stay the course, true to yourself. Always believe that the best is yet to come. Work like a dog every day in & day out, Don't think it could ever change someday. And you worry your dreams will fade into dust, Lift your chin up – listen now. Hold out, the best is yet to come, As good as you think it gets. Stay put, the rest is gonna be fun, You ain't seen nothin' yet. Hold out, the best is yet to come, As good as you think it gets. Stay put, the rest is gonna be fun, You ain't seen nothin' yet. This grabbed my attention right away with it's singalong beat and positive vibe. Superb backing tracks - great sounding drums and I loved the brass. Top notch vocals as always and excellent guitar solo. No beating this one, awesome collab!

Nice intro. Starts cookin' at 2:05 with the cool organ and guitar work. I agree the horn section & backer is super. Always enjoy your vocals Bob! Nice collab Bob & Larry and a little something different from the Shred Meister. Jazz flavored poptastic!
Fantastic chorus, seriously good. Fun production too. A swingin' start to summer.

A pleasure to listen; loved the comfortable mood with the nice brass work and your vocals (and background, always so nicely arranged). Catching melodic line and rich instrumental arrangements. Perfect solos and gorgeous fading outro. Well done guys! :)

Great drum intro…punchy snare hits…extremely catchy vocals with a memorable hook…sensational brass arrangement (love it)… top shelf arrangement … excellent dynamics at the 2:05 mark to introduce the superb organ solo which leads into a killer 8 bar guitar solo. I found myself tapping my foot and nodding my head throughout the song (which is kind of unusual for me). Awesome collab guys. This is a Pop HIT for sure. Always blown away by your work Bob.

Good one!! Dont´know why you both put this song on Pop.... I would see it in Jazz anyway.... and for this reason I gratulate you Bob, great jazzy colored vocal performance on this one, and Larry Talbot delivered a singular excellent backing track for sure!! Just my taste, great brass parts and Hammond too, uplifting drum works.....your guitar lead is very good melted into the BT!!! Nice job Larry and BOB!!!
