What a great acoustic song!! Didn´t know you yet, and I am happy I´ve found you here ( following Martin Phillips blog on Soundclick). I liked the vocal so much ( fine background vocals too!), perfectly fitting into the composition & lyrics, guitar and whistle complementig the song in such a sweet way!! Lovely song. Beautiful vocals sharing well written lyrics. The very sparse instrumentation allows the story line to flow undistracted...and i'm a fan of minimalist music. The whistle/flute tone gives it a fine English folky touch. Understated and effective. Very nice tune!

Nice vocal presence with the acoustic guitar - I liked the chord pattern hook at the end of the refrain (just before the second "It's been too much lately") - original. Excellent performance / production - bravo ;)
