Mesmerizing music, of Celtic inspiration, us here is dive back in ancient times.
The music evolves on a unique weft, by succession of "paintings" contrasting essentially by the orchestration,
harmoniously polarized almost constantly on the tonic (proceeded old).
A short part (kind of climax, shortly after the center of the music) evolve nevertheless one Quarte lower,
then the speech is relaunched then concluded on the tonic.
As for the detail, the relaunching in 34 seconds then later is just excellent, simple and effective!

Very nice piece, Morten. The tunes are very celtic and medieval in tone, and very beautiful. You manage to let the tunes develop and still keep the same intensity throughout the song.
Your choice of instruments sound just right for this type of music. The violins are delicate and seem to float along on top of the music. Very nice!

Just enjoyed this cool tune. Liked the overall celtic but at times almost a middle eastern vibe. Especialy loved the section around 3:50 or so where it was just that great percussion, the lute and the violin. Kind of minimalist there which is my cup 'o tea. Nice work Morten..Looks like your New Year is off to a good start!

Beautyful instrumentation in this track. You are a true master of this genre. Aspecialy love the section with clapping and shouting.
It bring out strong visuels together with autentic choice of instruments. It sounds like a celebration-song of some kind.

Brilliantly produced and composed Celtic track!! The music creates some fantastic visuals in the mind and takes us back to another era. This would make the perfect movie soundtrack. Stunningly good work!!

Awesome track Morten, movie sound track material for sure! I believe you and Michael Duran are kindred spirits as far as compositions and folk/regional music, for lack of a better term. Just a beautifully and expertly crafted piece of music!

Enjoyed the commanding nature of this Celtic piece Morten! Fantastic arrangement - great mix of instruments. Expert production that would make a great soundtrack for a motion picture. Bravo!!

Excellent work Morten!! What a powerful music and arrangement, perfectly builded up, using original instruments that are so well meld into the composition. Nothing at the wrong place, every second of the tune reflecting that particular atmosphere recalling images of middle age in mind. I agree with Michael D. , smoke&fire could be really felt listening to this one, exceptional work. I were not surprised if a movie producer would ask for this one to get a soundtrack for his movie!! :)

I can almost smell the smoke and see the silhouettes dancing in the firelight under the dark forest canopy..
