Story behind the song
This was stitched together from 2 sets of overlapping lyrics and given an ‘old school’ melody and chord sequence. When Roger Brawn came to stay for a couple of days earlier in the year I knocked up a backing track for him to play around with and he quickly developed a lead part to go with it. We recorded it in just a couple of takes and his intro and outro help to give it a cool jazz feel.
