Just another singer/songwriter. I play all my own instruments (except drums) and record on a Boss BR1200CD standalone multi-track recorder
Just an old Back To The Land hippie that stuck to his plan.

Of course the flutes steal the show, but I really like the percussion here. "Less is more" done properly. :)

imagery is the key to instrumentals and this one is loaded. creative arrangement and well performed. I almost checked 'vocals' for the crickets. nice recording as well, well balanced, clear, and each instrument has great flavor.

Great Friend and Musician Charlie - This wonderful song took be right back to my native South Dakota...and Summertime...around a campfire...and images of Native Americans celebrating THEIR/OUR HOMELAND. Your music blend of flute, drums, and other instruments was perfect for the song's special title and theme...This was a masterful
and highly creative song for the First Clickers Club Song
Challenge. (We clearly understand why you were also
making hay at the time...first things first always...but your
EXCEPTIONAL SONG wonderfully represented you in Spirit after you had to leave the Summertime Tune Party). Thanks for the song's deep
personal pleasure, and for the dl to our JBBQ Best of Best
Songs Music Player.
Best Wishes Always,
Bob (and the JBBQ "Guys")

Cricket dance really gets my wheels spinning. I can hear the popping firewood & see the warm fire light. Be sure to bring plenty of bug spray for this track... the skeeters are big enough to eat hay.
Way to go Pinedog. You never cease to amaze me! :)

Yes this does evoke the campfire night so well. MD was bang on when he said this has a sacred sound. Very deep and moving piece from just flute and percussion - very nice indeed

Pine – What a refreshing track. Simply fantastic. The exceptional flute melodies are captivating. It conjures the essence of the American native’s spirit in the mind. Exceptional work with the percussion (i.e. wood block, Guiro, and toms to mention a few). A marvelous idea for the summer’s theme. It is one of the favors of the evening for me. Oh, don’t want to forget the crickets around the campfire. Nice!!! Really nice.

I immediately recognize your Native American style here. Percussions, flutes, a forest, a tribe and you feel the Summer heat.
Rituals, dancing in circles with a lot of native men and women around the fire.
A very authentic mood and a beautiful sound.

Excellent track, great instrumentation - it really conjures up some great visuals! Very difficult to create a minimalist type of arrangement like this, but it is perfectly produced and performed.
Fantastic Native feel in this one Charlie - excellent choice of percussion, and the flute soloing has that exotic feel. Very cool!
