Story behind the song
The song ideally describes the sunrise in a mountain place. This song is the older one of our productions. Was wrote in 1986, for another band that never really had a take off, then it remained forgotten for years, until TWM became the project you may hear in this website. So, at the original guitar piece we added nature sounds, tubular bells, violins, percussions, piano keyboard, until the track became what you may hear now.
Lyrics
This track, wrote by our good old Duilio many years ago, is dedicated to the unfortunate bycicle champion Marco Pantani (also known as "The Pirate", "il Pirata", for the foulard he was use to dress), disappeared some year ago after a complicated and bad story. Since Duilio was a Pantani supporter (and still is, better to say) and his lonely death impressed him, this sweet and calm melody is dedicated to his memory and to the mountains he was use to climb as nobody else could. To somehow let him know he may be dead as a lonely man, but that his memory is still alive, and still beloved. Reached #5 New Age.
