Swing Street is a 7 piece band with vocalist which has played many different venues in the Northwest Washington area. From the Bellingham Yacht Club to Semiahmoo Resort and Skagit Casino, the band plays for dancing mostly but can put on a jazz concert if called upon! We have arrangements written for the band by leader Paul Sorensen who is quite well known for his arranging abilities. Our vocalist adds a special feature to the band by singing sultry ballads as well as swinging up tempo pieces in the style of Ella. We pride ourselves on looking great by normally wearing tuxedos and having special band fronts for the horn players to play from. 4 - part harmony is our forte in the style of the Four Freshmen, or the Hi - Los.
