State of G.R.A.C.E. Mission Statement "We want to spread the gospel to the world through our music. To use our voices as instruments to help build the kingdom of God. To give God all praise, glory, and thanks for his amazing grace." Selah State of G.R.A.C.E. is two sisters who love singing for the Lord! The G.R.A.C.E. part of their name stands for God's Riches At Christ's Expense. They were born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. Crystal Y. (Groves) Lumpkins and Camille (Groves) McMickle started their journey at a young age singing in their father's (Rev. IBS Groves Jr.) church when they were 9yrs and 5yrs old. They originally sang around the local area along with their little sister Cassandra Groves and called themselves the "The Groves Sisters". They would sing to hymns and tracks and praise the Lord at different churches, revivals, and conferences. As they got older Crystal got married, had two beautiful little boys (Israel and Isaiah) and moved away, Camille got married, and Cassandra moved also. The group seemed to come to a end, ...but God had other plans. In the year 2000, God blessed them to reunite. Crystal and Camille were lead by the Holy Spirit to start again with their ministry. They realized that these are the last of times and it is imperative to get the word of Jesus Christ out to the masses. They wanted to let God use them as vessels through their music. With the support of their husbands Garry and Donald, they began a journey that leads them to making this demo and then they kicked it off with having a big Gospel extravaganza concert this past April. Now they are currently working on completing their full album with approximately 10 more original songs. State of G.R.A.C.E. knows that this is what God has called them to do and they are excited and believing he will take them local, national, and international spreading and ministering to the lost, saved, and undecided souls. They appreciate all of the love and support from their fans so far. They can't wait to see how the Lord will move in the future with their ministry. The Scripture that State of G.R.A.C.E planted their ministry on is EPHESIANS 2:7-8 KJV That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God:
