I wrote this song for my neighbor who has a beautiful singing voice but refuses to sing cause all he wants to do is rap. Granted I got nothing against "rapping", or "rappers", but I feel that with Marvin Gaye and D'Angelo out of the scene, there is a huge void there that needs to be filled. So I think my neighbor's being stubborn about filling the void that he was born to fill and is instead pursuing something that isn't necessarily his. -Just my opinion-
