Story behind the song
i was almost done with the recording process of the 'free before i die' record but i felt like something was missing. the concept of the record was to create something that was without a doubt about me and my journey. what was missing was the things i like about myself that made me go on my journey in the first place. this song is a bit simple, but it's about those things. it is the album opener. and i will always love new york.
