Progressive, melodic, heavily orchestrated rock with celtic and space rock influences
] ');');');. I have privately released two albums, "The Last Druids" (2002) and "The Eye of the Cyclone" (2003). These are, according to one reviewer "progressive rock heavily informed by celtic music", though there are also space-rock influences in the second album. My next album "The Store of All the Worlds" will be released in March 2004. See album and concert reviews in the "Reviews" section. You may see reviews of the albums at the excellent "Aural Innovations" site: http://www.aural-innovations.com/issues/issue22/tombyrne.html and http://www.aural-innovations.com/issues/issue24/tombyrn2.html

Story behind the song
This is a religious song - based on Gnosticism. The cosmos is a vast bureaucracy, staffed by Aeons, all working to reconstruct the shattered, fallen God.
Lyrics
The Store of All the Worlds A crash, a smash of glass, a flash of gas A mash of metal in the underpass The squad car's blue-light flashing radiance The sirened dashing in the ambulance The trolleyed rushing down the corridor The quiet assurance that I'd see the sun no more The rising skyward from my poor old broken husk My world dissolving in its tragic final dusk I saw The store of all the worlds With all the lives that man Would ever need to span To meet the cosmic plan Experiential pearls The store of all the worlds Well sir, welcome back, I am the keeper here I manage all these worlds stacked tier by tier No sir, I'm not God, well no more God than you Like you, I'm just a bloke with work to do. I manage all the lives you'll ever live I harvest all the pain and joy you'll ever give For that you call divine omniscience Is just the sum of all experience Kept in the store The store of all the worlds With all the lives that man Would ever need to span To meet the cosmic plan Experiential pearls The store of all the worlds This is the storehouse of the Shattered God Where we record the steps that everyone has trod Where we must summarise your suffering To fuel the cosmic reawakening So while you're waiting to be sent to who-knows-where Why don't you tour around these capsules of despair And when you've glimpsed into a life or maybe two You'll see the burden lies on many more than you This is the store The store of all the worlds With all the lives that man Would ever need to span To meet the cosmic plan Experiential pearls The store of all the worlds
