Lyrics

In citrine circles floating still,
the leaves rest on the lake.
The air is languorous and chill;
scant movement does it make.  

Huge water lilies, moonbeam white,
with elegance unfurled;
their subtle charm a lush delight
within this buoyant world.

Serenity in satin blue
reflects the clouded sky
as wide terrains of darkened hue
in cool reflections lie.

The water’s empathetic face
responding to the moods
of azure wrath with placid grace
as calmness, it exudes.  

And as I gaze upon its form,
the lake’s entrancing peace
now pacifies my inner storm
and troubled musings cease.
