Kevin Schafer has released an independent CD called Invasion from Planet K that is guaranteed to blow your hair back faster than a ride in my convertible. Kev w
Invasion from Planet K "Not since the likes of a young Edward Van Halen and wired era Jeff Beck, has there been more explosive guitar playing. Without a doubt, Kevin Schafer and his Invasion from Planet K mates are the "70s heavy" real deal!” The loose and ragged 70s are without a doubt one of my biggest influences. You had Evel Knievel jumping canyons, you had Muhammed Ali whoopin ass and you had the best rock, funk and fusion going on. It was the style of this time that made music so colorful and explosive. As a guitarist, artists like Jeff Beck, Robin Trower, Alan Holdsworth, Eddie Van Halen, inspired me to get playing in the first place. I really miss the era of great guitar rock. That 70s flavor has inspired me to get loud again. Your gonna hear booty quakin grooves, coupled with cop show beats. Mix that with a Marshall cranked to twelve and you got yourself just a bit of sonic love... 6 $$$ TRICK and The 3 BeeZ are a couple new ones to listen to.

Story behind the song
This was recorded with an early 70s Carlsbro amp, I hit the neck pickup on my Tele and just had to go with it. Really nice early British vibe with this amp. It set the mood for this whole track. Beefy as hell!!
