Giving the term "solo artist" a whole new meaning.
Jared Emmanuel is a San Francisco Bay Area based solo recording artist. Having been writing, recording, and producing music on his own for the past ten years, he has crafted a unique balance of mellow haunting melodies and in-your-face hard-hitting progressive tracks that are sure to give listeners a roller coaster ride of emotional experiences. His new indie-alternative single "King of Things" is both dark and mysterious, and strange and colorful. It will soon be a part of a larger concept-collection of works to come.

Lyrics
You’ve gotta think for yourself Cause nobody's gonna do it for you Maybe that's the reason I feel so blue, now I just bought myself a new guitar But I haven't even had the chance to Get it out and just play something for you Well it's about one AM And it's looking like I'm gonna spend the night alone again Cause I wonder where you are, and who you're hanging with So I'm wasting my time wondering where ya been Probably out with all your countless friends So I'm contemplating what move to put on you next, like Hey baby can I get you another drink Or maybe we can go upstairs, you can tell me what you think? My drug is an optimistic lie I let it dull away the pain Until another day My drug is the center of our time But at the end of the day Who is there to blame? Nobody but me Nobody but me Well I’m gonna fight it off Swinging left and right until my face turns blue This feeling overcome by a sudden calmness And sense of overwhelming truth I'll rock this guitar loud enough so you can hear Loud enough so it's nice and clear A warning sign to all who trespass There to let you know right now that you’re not welcome here My drug is an optimistic lie I let it dull away the pain Until another day My drug, the center our time But at the end of the day Who is there to blame? Nobody but me
