I had reached a point in my life where I finally wanted to let go of any anger and resentment about my negative memories of high school. This song was that full turning point. I do however keep that anger in reserve to help me bring out emotion in the songs that need it, much like actors or actresses channel moments in their past to find certain emotions for a role.
