Indie band BELLS, local mainstays in the Lancaster music scene, have been producing and performing music together since late 2006. While initially being comprised of members of other bands (notable metal bands August Burns Red, and This or the Apocalypse) it was impossible for members to chase BELLS in any serious capacity until 2010 when founding member Sean quit This or the Apocalypse to write a BELLS album with fellow members Jon and Tim (Tim, having been asked to join the band around the same time). Together the triumvirate wrote and recorded their cover of August Burns Red's "Pangaea" which was included on the deluxe edition of the album "Leveler" in 2011. In the months following the release of Leveler BELLS started writing and recording what would become Our Forest, Our Empire. Upon completion of the album BELLS welcomed good friends Joe and Matt as additional live members. WOWZA!
