Hi! I'm a guitarist, singer and songwriter currently living in Fredericton, N.B., Canada. I've been performing music in one way or another since the mid '60's, starting out singing tenor in a barbershop quartet with my brothers and then into a progression of bands playing rock, jazz, blues and country and... whatever. It's been a fun ride so far and I'm still as exited about it as the day I began. Ralph Atkinson

Lyrics
Well it's hot, don't wanna move too fast tryin' to beat the heat she stumbles down the stairs in her alligator shoes and out into the street a sophisticated lady to the bling-drivin' Bennies that flash their money around she's just waiting on the corner for the ice cream man but she can't hear a sound In the evening she's a dancer in a club downtown in the daytime she's a student on the college grounds She's workin' her way yeah, she's workin' her way She's got dreams, big dreams she's gonna be a lawyer someday she saves all her money in the TD bank and some she sends away To her mama and papa in the old country they live their hopes and dreams through her, vicariously So she's workin' her way yeah, she's workin' her way And all the guys who watch her leave their brains at the door and when her dance is over she leaves their hearts on the floor 'cause she's workin' her way yeah, she's workin' her way
